Red Leaf Pottery and me (Marie Claire) care about your experience in selecting your piece of pottery.  I will work with you on glazes, carving or painting should you want to add some personalization to your purchase.  For pottery that will be in contact with food, the glazes available are limited to those that are non-toxic.  For other items (ashtrays, vases etc) there are a few more options.

All pottery is dishwasher, oven and freezer friendly.  None can be used on direct heat (don't put it on a grill or stove top or camp fire...).  While temps reach upwards of 2200 degrees in the glaze firing process, the pieces can not take direct heat.
